Almost all foreign visitors need a visa to travel to India. The good news is that more than 100 nationalities are able to apply for an India e-Visa online. Read on to discover if you’re eligible, find out all the documents you need, and learn exactly how and when to apply. Byevisa sends your official document directly to your email inbox.

Are you an adventurous traveller? You will find that the eTourist visa can be used for more than just sightseeing. Volunteering, attending a yoga programme and taking a cooking course are a few examples of additional activities you can pursue with your India Electronic Visa.

What Is the Difference Between an India eVisa vs a Visa on Arrival (VoA)?

The main difference is that you get the eVisa online before you go, and the India Visa on Arrival in person when you get there. The 2 documents are part of the same process, and both are required.

You must follow 2 steps to obtain permission to enter the country:

  1. Get your Electronic Visa online before you travel. Apply online with Byevisa to receive your eVisa in your email inbox in as little as 2 business days.
  2. Get your Visa on Arrival sticker placed in your passport when you arrive in India. Present a printed copy of your eVisa along with your passport when you go through immigration control at the airport or seaport to receive your Visa on Arrival.

Byevisa simplifies the process of getting your electronic document to save you time and hassle.

That way, you’re free to focus your energies on planning your visit to the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur and dreaming about your encounter with the spectacular Taj Mahal.
