What Is the Difference Between a Kiribati Visa vs Being Visa-Exempt?
Visitors who are visa-exempt can stay in Kiribati for up to a maximum of 120 days, depending on where they are from, without needing a travel permit. If you fall into this category, you should know that this exemption only applies if you are travelling for tourism or to visit friends and family. In addition, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.
On the other hand, most nationalities will need to obtain a visa from an embassy or consulate if they wish to visit this beautiful island. This permit can be Single Entry or Multiple Entry, depending on your needs. Read on to find out how you can get this document.

We always recommend asking for general guidelines on processing times when you submit your application, so you know when to expect the document to be ready.
