Do I Need A Visa If I’m In Transit Through the Country?
If you’re transiting through Auckland International Airport on your way to another destination, you can make an application for the Transit NZeTA document. Do I Need a Visa for New Zealand From UK if I’m on a Cruise?
If your cruise is leaving from a New Zealand port, you need to make the application online before you join the cruise and show the evidence of the authorisation at check-in. If you’ll be arriving in the country by cruise ship, you’ll be deemed to be in possession of a visitor visa on arrival at your first port. This will expire 28 days after your ship arrives at that first port or on the date that the ship leaves, whichever comes first. If you’ll be staying in the country after your cruise, you must apply for entry permission and a visa by completing the arrival card and giving it to one of the immigration officers at the port.
