Exempt Nationalities

If you are among the nationalities that enjoy visa-free entry into this African country, then you won’t need to get any documents before you travel to the country. All you will need is a passport with at least 6 months validity on it.

Embassy Application

If this applies to you, you will need to get an appointment at your nearest Lesotho embassy. On the day of the appointment, you should bring the completed application form along with all the required supporting documents as well as your original passport.

Here are the documents you need to have ready before you start the application process:

• A Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
• Confirmation of your ongoing or return flights.
• Proof of accommodation.
• A passport-style photo of yourself.
• A copy of your passport page with your information.
• Evidence showing you have enough funds to cover the cost of your trip.
• Travel insurance covering the duration of your stay in Lesotho.

Once you have filled out this information, you can move on to attaching the scanned copies of the supporting documents required.

Lesotho Visa Status Check

If you have processed your application through Byevisa, we can check the status of your application for you. All you need to do it follow these simple steps:

1. Click on ‘Log In’ in the main menu at the top of this page.
2. Enter your email address and your order number.
3. You will be able to check the status of your application that will be either accepted, rejected or pending.

If you need to contact us, just enter your name, contact details, and submit a query in the form. Our customer support team will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

If you believe you may have made a mistake in your application, it’s important you let us know right away, so we can do our level best to fix it without the need for you to reapply. Please note that, if the document has already been processed, you will need to submit a new application and pay the fee again.

How Much Does a Lesotho Visa Cost?

The government fees for the e-Visa are 150 USD for a Single-Entry permit and 250 USD for a Multiple-Entry permit.

Byevisa also charges a processing fee that varies depending on the service you select and the speed with which you need your travel document. At the end of your application, you will be asked to select one of the following:

• Standard – processed in 11 days for 50 USD
• Rapid – processed in 9 days for 85 USD
• Highly Rapid – processed in 7 days for 115 USD

So the final cost you pay is a total of the government fee and our processing fee.
