What Is the Difference Between the SG Arrival Card and a Singapore Visa?
The SG Arrival Card is designed to collect the traveller’s personal details along with information about your trip and a health declaration form. It is required by all visitors to Singapore, and it must be submitted in the 3 days prior to arrival in the country.
The travel card is electronically linked to your passport. As such, border authorities will be able to see it in the system when they scan your passport, which makes the immigration process much quicker and easier.
Aside from the SG Arrival Card, some nationalities may need to get a visa to enter Singapore. First, this can be an electronic visa, where the application is done online and the travel document is sent by email. Second, it can be a paper visa, which must be obtained from an embassy or consulate.
If you require this additional document, the best thing to do is to contact your nearest Singapore embassy to find out what application methods are available for you.
