All About Zambia E Visas

Thinking of visiting the southern African country of Zambia? This nation, one of Africa’s gems, is one of the continent’s number one safari destinations and is home to the breathtaking Victoria Falls and a wide variety of scenic natural parks.

As you plan your trip to Zambia, you may be wondering if you need a visa to visit to enter. This article takes a closer look at the travel documents required to enter the country, and tells you how to apply for yours.

There are different requirements depending on the country you’re from. Byevisa walks you through the steps to check if you’re eligible to apply for an electronic travel authorisation.

What’s the Difference Between a Zambia e-Visa and a Visa on Arrival?

An e-Visa is an official document permitting entry into Zambia and is issued online. Anyone aged 16 or older of any nationality who requires a visa or a Visa on Arrival is eligible to apply for an e-Visa. You can quickly and easily apply for your electronic authorisation with Byevisa. Once you receive it by email, you need to print it out and present it upon arrival to the country.

By comparison, a Visa on Arrival (VoA) is issued at various points of entry into the country such as airports, sea ports and border checkpoints.
