Requirements for Taiwan eVisa applicants:

  • Hold an ordinary, official or diplomatic passport valid for at least 6 months after the intended date of entry into Taiwan.
    • The use of emergency or temporary passports is not permitted.
    • The passport must be issued by an eligible country listed above.
  • Intend to travel for tourism or business purposes only.
    • This may include visiting family members, attending international conferences or watching sporting events.
    • Other activities, such as study or employment, are not permitted with an Electronic Visa.

Taiwan eVisa Form and Documents

The next step is to decide how fast you want your eVisa to be processed.

  • Rapid service: Get your eVisa in 5 business days for a 45.00 USD processing fee.

The final step in the form is to make your payment using one of the following options:

  • Debit/credit card: Provide your card number, name as it appears on the card, expiration date and 3-digit security code.
  • PayPal: Provide your account number.

In most cases, no. However, if you have a Turkish passport with more than 6 months of validity you can apply for a Taiwan Visa on Arrival (VoA) called a Landing Visa. It is not possible to renew your Electronic Visa. If you would like to stay in Taiwan for longer than 30 days, you need a different type of visa that cannot be processed online. If you would like to travel to the country again in the future, you will need to apply for a new eVisa at that time. Please keep in mind that each eVisa is Single Entry.
The passport linked to your eVisa must be valid for at least 6 months after you enter Taiwan. If your passport is set to expire before that time, you’ll need to get a new passport. Be sure to enter the new passport information on your visa application.
